Client: Algerian Ministry of National Defence
Total Site Area: 38,000 m²
Location: Algiers, Algeria
This project was delivered under a full EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) contract, including all design works, construction, equipment supply, installation, and commissioning, for the Algerian Ministry of National Defence. The development was conceived as a comprehensive sports and recreation complex, combining aquatic facilities with indoor and outdoor sports infrastructure.
At the heart of the project is a fully enclosed Olympic-size swimming pool, designed and equipped in accordance with international standards. The pool facility includes spectator seating, professional timing and lane equipment, water treatment systems, and complete mechanical and electrical installations. Supporting spaces such as locker rooms, changing areas, showers, technical rooms, and administrative spaces were fully integrated into the design and EPC scope.
The complex also features extensive outdoor sports facilities, including multi-purpose courts, training areas, and landscaped recreation zones. Additional buildings house athlete and staff locker rooms, service areas, and support functions, ensuring efficient circulation and safe separation of public, athlete, and service flows.
All sports equipment, pool systems, and technical installations were supplied and installed as part of the EPC contract, delivering a fully operational, turnkey facility. Completed as a self-contained sports campus, the project demonstrates strong expertise in EPC delivery of large-scale sports complexes, Olympic-standard aquatic facilities, and integrated recreational infrastructure, meeting stringent institutional, technical, and operational requirements.
