Recreation Areas & Leisure Facility – Algiers, Algeria
Client: Algerian Ministry of National Defence
Total Site Area: 86,000 m² | Built Area: 1,300 m²
Location: Algiers, Algeria
This project involves the design and construction of a large-scale recreation and leisure complex developed in Algiers for the Algerian Ministry of National Defence. Implemented over a total area of 86,000 m², the facility was conceived as a multifunctional outdoor space combining leisure, sports, and social amenities within a carefully designed landscape environment.
The project includes a wide range of recreational and landscape features, such as an artificial stream, landscaped green areas, sports facilities, and children’s playgrounds, creating a balanced and user-friendly environment. These outdoor functions were designed to promote relaxation, physical activity, and social interaction while ensuring seamless integration with the surrounding context.
In addition to the outdoor facilities, the project comprises approximately 1,300 m² of enclosed buildings, including administrative facilities, a restaurant, and cafeteria areas, supported by full infrastructure works. The architectural and landscape designs were developed to complement each other, ensuring functional efficiency, visual coherence, and long-term durability.
Both the design and execution phases of the project were fully carried out by our team, reflecting strong expertise in integrated design–build delivery, landscape architecture, and public recreational facilities. The project stands as a comprehensive example of combining infrastructure, architecture, and landscape works into a cohesive and high-quality recreational environment.
