Architecture & Project Development
Mimko Project Group was founded in 1984 by Architect Kenan Baycan and Architect Tülay Baycan, with the belief that architecture is not merely the production of buildings, but a multidisciplinary process that shapes living environments and adds long-term value to the built context. From its establishment onward, the group has developed a strong architectural culture grounded in design integrity, technical competence, and continuity.
The group’s project activities span a wide range of building typologies, including residential developments, office buildings, hotels, public and governmental facilities, healthcare buildings, sports complexes, industrial facilities, and mixed-use projects. In 2010, the participation of Architect Ozan Menekşe as a partner significantly strengthened the group’s design capacity, technical depth, and international project portfolio, enabling Mimko to expand its presence beyond Türkiye and operate effectively in diverse geographical and cultural contexts.
Mimko Project Group adopts contemporary architectural principles as a fundamental design reference, while approaching each project as a unique response to its specific context. Design decisions are shaped through a balanced evaluation of investor objectives, user requirements, functional efficiency, aesthetic values, material selection, and technical feasibility, ensuring solutions that are both expressive and buildable.
The design process covers the entire architectural spectrum, from concept and preliminary design to detailed application and execution projects. At every stage, the group prioritizes interdisciplinary coordination, precision in detailing, and consistency between design intent and implementation, allowing ideas to translate seamlessly into high-quality built environments.
With decades of experience across Türkiye and international markets, Mimko Project Group has developed the ability to respond to different climates, regulations, cultural contexts, and construction methodologies. Each project is conceived as an architectural solution that enhances user experience, respects its environment, and creates long-term investment value.
Today, Mimko Project Group continues to operate as a design-driven, reliable, and visionary architectural practice, combining its deep-rooted heritage with a forward-looking perspective and delivering architecture that is enduring, functional, and contextually meaningful.
